Overview
At Microsoft, Grace led ecommerce product design and conversion optimisation across two distinct product lines — B2B Surface (commercial) and B2C Xbox (consumer). The challenge was to improve low engagement with B2B and B2C products by redesigning product categories, listings, visual elements, quick links, filter tabs, and other key design components. The goal: enhance product visibility across the entire user journey, optimise navigation using clear and visually rich design elements, and encourage deeper engagement by prompting users to scroll through product pages.
The approach considered the entire ecosystem of the brand — from proposition value to product lists and rich filters — while supporting Microsoft's regional rollout strategy across UK & Ireland.

This project is a live demonstration of The Sequence — Grace's methodology for positioning-led, AI-first product building. Starting from zero, the entire product was conceived, designed, and deployed using Claude Code as the primary build tool, with Next.js and Vercel as the infrastructure layer.
The project documents what it actually takes to go from idea to deployed product as a solo founder using agentic AI tools — covering positioning, design system setup, component architecture, and deployment. Every decision is documented as a replicable step.
